Trend justification: Even though tree cover loss within the range amounts to up to 9% over ten years (Global Forest Watch 2021, using Hansen et al. [2013] data and methods disclosed therein), the species is not considered at risk as it seems to prefer secondary and disturbed growth over primary forest (Fjeldså and Kirwan 2020, WikiAves 2021).
