State of the World’s Birds case studies provide a summary of why birds and biodiversity are important, what we know about the changing state of the world’s birds, why birds are declining, and what can be done to improve their status.

These case studies underpin key conservation messages which are presented within a comprehensive State-Pressure-Response framework.
