State of the World’s Birds case studies provide a summary of why birds and biodiversity are important, what we know about the changing state of the world’s birds, why birds are declining, and what can be done to improve their status. These case studies underpin key conservation messages which are presented within a comprehensive State-Pressure-Response framework. In this ‘Spotlight’ section, case studies are grouped into cross-cutting themes illustrating key conservation issues, such as climate change, indicators and forests. This provides users with an overview to the topic and enables them to quickly find related case studies of interest. |
