Site description (2000 baseline)
A large area of poor sandy soil covered with lichens and scattered dwarf shrubs, with smaller areas of Pinus mugo plantations and other conifers. This IBA has been extended to include a larger terrestrial area but the marine areas surrounding this IBA (and previously included within it, following Grimmett and Jones 1989) are now included in the Northern Kattegat IBA (site 119).
