Located in south-west Hunan, bordering Guangxi in the south. The IBA is in the Nanling mountains.
Key biodiversity
Non-bird biodiversity: Nationally protected plants include Cathaya argrophylla, Tsuga longlbracteata and Abies ziyuanensis.
