Site description (2009 baseline)
Located in north-western Pingwu County, northern Sichuan. The IBA is in the foothills of Xuebaoding, the main peak in the Min Shan mountains.
Key biodiversity
Non-bird biodiversity: Nationally protected mammals including Giant Panda, Sichuan Snub-nosed Langur, Leopard, Takin, Asiatic Black Bear.
