Site description (2000 baseline):
Site location and context
Large meadows with arable land in the Landgraben-Taube lowland area. The site also includes the Neolith pond and the Diebziger forest.
The site holds 20,000 or more waterbirds in winter, on a regular basis. Species of global conservation concern that do not meet IBA criteria:
Crex crex (2-5 breeding pairs).
Pressure/threats to key biodiversity
Part of the site is managed by NABU. A water management plan is needed.

International NoneIBA overlaps with three Nature Reserves (Neolith pond, 101 ha; Diebzig forest, 374 ha; Wulfen meadows, 430 ha).
