Site description (2000 baseline):
Site location and context
The site comprises both slow and fast-flowing rivers, marshes, woodland and dry calcareous grassland. Human activities include gravel exploitation, agriculture, fishing, hunting and tourism, including boating.
The site is a migratory bottleneck, where more than 3,000 raptors regularly pass. Species of global conservation concern that do not meet criteria:
Aythya nyroca (wintering).
Pressure/threats to key biodiversity
No major threats are known at this site.

International Partial346 ha of IBA covered by Nature Reserve (Les Ramières, 346 ha). 200 ha of IBA covered by Hunting Reserve (200 ha). 346 ha of IBA covered by Special Protection Area (Val de Drôme: Les Ramières, 346 ha).
