Site description (2001 baseline):
Site location and context
The upper reaches of the river Teberda on the northern slopes of Bolshoi Caucasus.
This area is also a bottleneck for many raptors - certainly more then 3000 in total, but no special counts have been made.
Habitats comprising large glaciers, alpine meadows and mountain forests.
