Site location and context
Also known as Selalu Legini (Butchart et.al.1996)



Key biodiversity
This area is covered almost all restricted-range birds species in Sumbawa Island (19 of 20 species) (Trainor et.al.2000). Population of Yellow-crested Cockatoo Cacatua sulphurea is predicted in good condition. Russet-backed Jungle-flycatcher Rhinomyias oscillans recorded for Sumbawa Island for the first time in this site (Butchart et.al. 1996).



Habitat and land use
Mangrove, beach forest, savana, dry deciduous forest, dry evergreen forest, lowland semi-evergreen forest, association of Dipterocarpus retusu, association of Heritierra gigantea, lower mountain forest and association of Duabanga moluccana (Trainor et.al.2000)



Pressure/threats to key biodiversity
Infrastructure development is listed as threat (Trainor et.al 2000)



Protected areas
Proposed as Wildlife Sanctuary (Trainor et.al. 2000, Jepson et.al. 2001)
