Site description (2000 baseline)
A small river valley with meadows and marshes. Habitat and land-use data are subjective estimates.
Key biodiversity
The site was designated as a Special Protection Area on the basis of breeding populations of five species listed on Annex I of the EC Birds Directive. With the possible exception of Botaurus stellaris, these species no longer breed.
