Site description (2007 baseline)
The site is located in the southwest of Hokkaido and has two large crater lakes and charasteristic volcanos of Mt Usuzan, Mt Eniwadake and Mt Tarumaesan. The site has mainly mixed conifer and broadleaf trees.
