Site description (2000 baseline)
Located in the east of Fuerteventura, this is a good example of the deep rocky gullies found in the eastern Canary Islands, with running water and areas of dense vegetation including a Tamarix canariensis copse. Human activities include goat-grazing.

Key biodiversity
The site is important for breeding Saxicola dacotiae, and also supports wintering and migrating waders and passerines.
