Site location and context
This site contains wet grassland, peatbogs, deciduous woodlands,
Populus grove, rivers, riverine forest, arable land and bocage.
The site holds 20,000 or more waterbirds in winter, on a regular basis.
Pressure/threats to key biodiversity
The site is threatened by agricultural intensification (ploughing of meadows) and gravel extraction. The construction of a motorway is planned, which will result in the alteration and dredging of rivers.

International None1,799 ha of IBA covered by Voluntary Nature Reserve (l'Ill Wald, 1,799 ha). 23 ha of IBA covered by Private Reserve (23 ha).
