Site description (2003 baseline)
Coastal area is used for agriculture, inland area is alocated for medicinal plant collection and wild boar and deer huntimg. Most of the people work as dry land farmer. Main comodities are coconut, cashew, coffee, cacao, clove and nutmeg.

Key biodiversity
Pulau Kobroor is an interesting area because of its avifauna is a mixed between Moluccas and Papua. Palm Cockatoo Probosciger atterimus and King Bird-of-paradise Cicinurus regius live in this area.

Non-bird biodiversity: Thylogale brunii, Spilocucuc maculatus chrysorrhous, Cervus timorensis moluccensis (Hitipeuw & Tuhumury 1999 obs.pri.).
