The site contains garrigue, cultivated areas, dry meadows, Mediterranean woodlands, cliffs, a river and a reservoir.
Key biodiversity
The site is important for breeding raptors, Tetrax tetrax, and species associated with Mediterranean habitats. Species of global conservation concern that do not meet IBA criteria: Falco naumanni (irregularly breeds).
