Site location and context
A group of natural lakes in the River Prip'yat valley, dominated by reedbeds
Phragmites and meadows. Human activities include cattle-grazing, haymaking, and hunting.
Breeding species of global conservation concern that do not meet IBA criteria:
Crex crex (5-12 pairs).
Pressure/threats to key biodiversity
Haymaking and harvesting of sedge
Carex (`Other') can cause problems.
