Site description (2000 baseline)
A group of natural lakes in the River Prip'yat valley, dominated by reedbeds Phragmites and meadows. Human activities include cattle-grazing, haymaking, and hunting.

Key biodiversity
Breeding species of global conservation concern that do not meet IBA criteria: Crex crex (5-12 pairs).
