Deciduous forests, mostly wet, that are intensively managed.
The best site in Lithuania for breeding
Aquila pomarina and some other birds of prey. Species of global conservation concern that do not meet IBA criteria:
Haliaeetus albicilla (on passage),
Crex crex (breeding).
Pressure/threats to key biodiversity
The site is covered by the national IBA monitoring network.
