Deciduous forests, mostly wet, that are intensively managed.

Key biodiversity
The best site in Lithuania for breeding Aquila pomarina and some other birds of prey. Species of global conservation concern that do not meet IBA criteria: Haliaeetus albicilla (on passage), Crex crex (breeding).
