Site description (2001 baseline):

Site location and context

An extensive peninsula of 1250 m altitude situated between Ildir and Izmir bays.

Protected areas

National High International None670 ha of IBA covered by Permanent Wildlife Reserve (Ildir Körfezi Adalari, 670 ha). The majority of the Karaburun Peninsula is protected under SIT Status.
