Site description (2000 baseline)
A complex of 42 islets and the solitary Pharmakonisi islet. The area is generally overgrazed.

Key biodiversity
The site is important for breeding raptors and seabirds, and for passage migrants. Species of global conservation concern that do not meet IBA criteria: Falco naumanni (2-5 breeding pairs).
