Site description (2000 baseline)
A dyked lagoon with reedbeds, surrounded by conifer plantations, mixed deciduous scrub, grazed meadows and fields.
Key biodiversity
This small area also holds high densities of staging ducks. Circus aeruginosus, listed on Annex I of the EC Birds Directive, breeds at the site.
