Site description (2000 baseline)
A mountainous area along the border with France. The site contains scrub, wet grassland and Fagus forest. The main human activities are livestock-farming, hunting and forestry.
Key biodiversity
An important site for breeding raptors, particularly for Gyps fulvus.
