Site description (2000 baseline)
Wet flood-meadows, mostly dominated by Carex, some ponds, and marshes with mixed forests, near the shores of Kuronian lagoon.
Key biodiversity
This is the main breeding area for Acrocephalus paludicola in Lithuania. Breeding species of global conservation concern that do not meet IBA criteria: Crex crex and Haliaetus albicilla (1 pair).
