Site location and context
A bay with tidal sandflats, saltmarshes and small brackish ponds. Cattle graze on the saltmashes.
This is an important staging area for
Pluvialis apricaria.
Recurvirostra avosetta and
Sterna paradisaea, both listed on Annex I of the EC Birds Directive, bred in 1988, but no recent breeding data are available.

International High1,680 ha of IBA covered by Special Protection Area (Dråby Vig and Buksør Odde, 1,680 ha).
