A lake, Pinus forests, heathland, marshes, wet meadows and cultivated fields.
Key biodiversity
The site holds 20,000 or more waterbirds in winter, on a regular basis (including Fulica atra 2,562; Vanellus vanellus 3,500). Species of global conservation concern that do not meet IBA criteria: Aythya nyroca (wintering); Haliaeetus albicilla (wintering); Acrocephalus paludicola (passage).
