Site location and context
A natural wetland in the lower reaches of the Dnestr valley, which includes a man-made reservoir as well as the flood-plain of the Turunchuk river near Belyaevka town.
Breeding waterbirds number more than 15,000 pairs in total.

International High20,000 ha of IBA covered by Ramsar Site (Northern Part of the Dniester Liman, 20,000 ha). 7,600 ha of IBA covered by Ramsar Site (Dniester-Turunchuk Crossrivers Area, 7,600 ha).
