Site description (2009 baseline)
Dali Nur is the third largest lake in Inner Mongolia, and is located in the eastern part of the Inner Mongolia Plateau. In the eastern part of the IBA, the main habitat is the forests in the Da Hinggan Ling mountains. In the southern and south-eastern parts there are sand dunes, and in the northern and north-western parts there are grasslands.
