Site location and context
An area of the Guadalquivir valley with extensive cereal cultivation, sunflower fields and olive-groves.



Key biodiversity
An important area for steppic species. Species of global conservation concern that do not meet IBA criteria: Tetrax tetrax (resident).



Pressure/threats to key biodiversity
The main threats are the intensification of agriculture, the over-exploitation of water resources, and drought.
