Site location and context
An area of mountains dominated by
Pinus forests and Mediterranean scrub. The site includes an area of plain dominated by olive-groves.
This is an important site for breeding raptors and species characteristic of Mediterranean habitats.
Pressure/threats to key biodiversity
The main threats are from both natural and man-induced fires and the erection of powerlines.
