Site location and context
An undulating area with scrub surrounded by intensive cereal cultivation, olive-groves and vineyards.



Key biodiversity
This is an important site for steppic species.



Pressure/threats to key biodiversity
The restoration of old buildings, therefore destroying nesting sites for Falco naumanni, is the most important threat (`Other' threats, above).



Protected areas
National None International Low6,545 ha of IBA covered by Special Protection Area (Campo de Calatrava, 6,545 ha).
