Site description (2000 baseline):
Site location and context
A well-vegetated plain located to the south of the Booth Sund inlet, comprising tundra and marsh habitats and several shallow lakes. The shallow inlet contains many small islands.
Also important for breeding
Sterna paradisaea and moulting
Anser caerulescens.
Pressure/threats to key biodiversity
No serious threats are known at the site.
