Key biodiversity
Rimatara Lorikeet (EN), Rarotonga Flycatcher (EN), Atiu Swiftlet (VU) and Cook Islands Fruit-dove (VU) are all resident on the island. Wintering site for Bristle-highed Curlew (VU).
