Site description (2000 baseline)
An isolated, mountainous area with ravines and gorges and limestone scree in the alpine zone. Forest cover is dominated by fir Abies and pine Pinus with small patches of deciduous woodland. The main human activity is livestock-farming.
Key biodiversity
The area is important for alpine species and raptors.
