Taxonomic note
Crithagra flavigula (del Hoyo and Collar 2016) was previously placed in the genus Serinus following Dowsett & Forbes-Watson (1993); Sibley & Monroe (1990, 1993).

This estimate is equivalent to 375-1,499 individuals in total, rounded here to 350-1,500 individuals.

Trend justification: The population is suspected to be in decline owing to on-going habitat alteration and disturbance, although the likely rate of decline has not been estimated.
