Justification of Red List category
This species has a small population and range, which are inferred to be declining as a result of habitat loss. However, the species is found in more than one subpopulation and the largest subpopulation likely contains >1,000 mature individuals; moreover, it is not confined to a small number of locations. For these reasons it is listed as Near Threatened.
