Taxonomic note
Arremon flavirostris has been split into Saffron-billed Sparrow A. flavirostris and Stripe-crowned Sparrow A. dorbignii following the evidence of genetic separation (Trujillo-Arias et al. 2017) and after comparison of museum specimens revealed that dorbignii differs by its; grey central crown-stripe vs none or just a grey nuchal patch (3); white vs black preocular supercilium (2); narrower breast-stripe (somewhat variable in other taxa; hence only 1); different song (at least 1).
