Taxonomic note
Myiagra inquieta and M. nana (del Hoyo and Collar 2016) were previously lumped as M. inquieta following Christidis and Boles (2008) and Sibley and Monroe (1990, 1993).

Population justification: The global population size has not been quantified, but the species is reported to be locally fairly common (Flegg and Madge 1995).
Trend justification: This population is estimated to be in decline following local decreases and range contractions probably owing to intensive farming and habitat modification (del Hoyo et al. 2006).
