Trend justification: The population is inferred to be declining owing to habitat loss per Tracewski et al. (2016), persecution around plantations as it eats fruit, and hunting for food and cagebirds (del Hoyo et al. 2002, A. Bodrati and K. Cockle in litt. 2018).
