Taxonomic note
Anthus furcatus and A. brevirostris were previously lumped as A. furcatus (del Hoyo and Collar 2016), but A. brevirostris split on the basis of genetic divergence and marked differences in song (Van Els and Norambuena 2018). Monotypic.
