Population justification: The population size has not been quantified, but the fact it is considered common in the areas where it is known from and its potential to be present in a larger amount of Gabon than previously thought may mean it has a population size of >10,000 mature individuals. Provisionally placed here in the range of 10,000-19,999 mature individuals.

Trend justification: The population is suspected to be in decline owing to ongoing habitat degradation.
