Taxonomic note
Caprimulgus macrurus and C. andamanicus (del Hoyo and Collar 2014) were previously lumped as C. macrurus following Sangster & Rozendaal (2004), and before then were also lumped with C. meesi as C. macrurus following Sibley and Monroe (1990, 1993).
