Population justification: The population of this species has not been estimated, but is likely to be very large given its expansive range description that it is generally common to abundant throughout its range (see Limparungpatthanakij [2022] and references therein).
Trend justification: The population is suspected to be increasing in size due to the expansion of agriculture in the region. For example, increases have been noted in India (see Limparungpatthanakij [2022] and references therein), while range expansions have been observed in Pakistan.
