Population justification: The global population is estimated to number 50,000-499,999 mature individuals (Partners in Flight 2019).

Trend justification:

The species is undergoing a moderate decline (Partners in Flight 2019). A remote-sensing study found that forest loss within the range over the past decade was potentially 7% (Tracewski et al. 2016), suggesting that the species is declining at <10% over a ten year period.
