The above map shows the simulated distribution of Cassin's Honeybird (Prodotiscus insignis) for the present day (2008) based on recent observed climate change. The map was generated by relating the species's current range to a current climate simulation produced by the Hadley Centre (HADCM3 model using the B2a scenario of future greenhouse gas emissions).
