Population justification: The global population is estimated to number 610,000 mature individuals (Partners in Flight 2020).
Trend justification: Population trends have not been investigated. In parts of the range habitat is lost and degraded mainly for agricultural conversion and the expansion of settlements, but the impacts on the population trend are unknown (Chavez-Ramirez and Moreno-Valdez 2020).
