Population justification:

The global population is estimated to number 500,000-4,999,999 mature individuals (Partners in Flight 2019).

Trend justification:

The species is undergoing a small decline (Partners in Flight 2019). Even though it is tolerant of habitat modification, the decline is thought to be caused by ongoing habitat destruction and fragmentation.
