Population justification:
The global population is estimated to number fewer than 50,000 mature individuals (Partners in Flight 2019), therefore it is here placed in the band 20,000-49,999 mature individuals.
Trend justification:
The species is undergoing a moderate decline (Partners in Flight 2019). Even though the species is tolerant of habitat modification, the decline is thought to be caused by ongoing habitat destruction and fragmentation.
