Population justification: The population size has not been quantified, but the species is described as fairly common (Bierregaard et al. 2020). Given the frequency of records within the very large range (see eBird 2023) the population is unlikely to be small.
Trend justification: In the absence of evidence for any declines or substantial threats, the population is tentatively suspected to be stable.
