Population justification: Assuming that only a fraction of its suitable habitat is occupied and using population densities for conspecifics, this species is estimated at just larger than 2,500 mature individuals (rising to >10,000 if all of the suitable habitat is occupied). Therefore, the population size is tentatively placed in the range 2,500-9,999 mature individuals.

Trend justification: Deforestation rates from Ł. Tracewski (unpubl. data following Tracewski et al. 2016) suggest that the species has lost c.10.5% of suitable habitat over the past 3 generations (18 years), which is believed to be causing a population decline.
